Calle Cuna

Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz)
Entirely whitewashed house with a voussoired doorway. Beside this, an Arab influenced pointed arch opens up, leading on to the street called Los Arcos, reproducing the one called Calle Cuna in Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz). This kind of street is very characteristic of many villages in Andalusia. It is built of whitewashed houses with large grilles, and the top part of it is crossed by arches joining the buildings and forming screens to protect them from the sun.
